Good Morning on New Years Eve.  In just a few short hours we will be ringing in the New Year.  There will be plans made – resolutions – goals and the like.  Most of that will occur after the parties and the late night revelry.

The BIG question is what are you going to DO?  We wouldn’t go to an architect to have plans drawn for a home we didn’t intend to build.  We wouldn’t go to the contractor and engage them in the project if we didn’t intend to build.  We wouldn’t buy the materials, the land and start to dig the dirt to lay the foundation if we didn’t intend to build.

The BIG question is what are you going to DO?  I encourage you to build.  I encourage you to dream and set goals.  To make resolutions. Those are valuable things to DO!

I also encourage you to keep DOING them.  To move the ball forward.  To keep correcting your course until you achieve your objective.  How do you do that?  FOCUS!  TEAMWORK!  PRAYER!  just to name a few.

You need to have a TEAM that helps you even if its just with FOCUS.  It’s important to ask God for help – PRAYER.  All so simple you say.  So easy to write, so easy to read.  Is it easy to DO?

Only if you decide.  When you decide that enough is enough and you will find a way.  You DO.  When you decide that your done with a meal – then the wait staff come and take your plate away and you can move on.  When you decide that your done with certain habits in your life – then the wait staff of life will come and take that plate away so that you can move on.

You must decide.  No one can do it for you.  You can’t decide for your spouse that they should __________. Only they can decide.  Jim Rohn said “You take care of You for Me, and I will take care of Me for You.”  That’s the way that it works.  In the Bible it says don’t mention the speck in your brothers eye when you have a log in your own.  You must decide.

I encourage you to spend some time today and tomorrow planning, dreaming, thinking about what you want your life to look like.  Take your time to the ARCHITECT (God) and ask Him how He designed you.  Then begin to build on His plan.  Since He created you – He clearly had a plan and a purpose for you.  (Check out The Purpose Driven Life – Rich Warren for a great read in-depth on this topic)  He doesn’t create junk, you are special – just look at the Sunrise or the Sunset – He created that and it works perfectly day after day.  He created the trees, the birds, the animals all magnificent.  He too created You.  So spend some time and see what you were created to be.

Then set up a team to help keep you on course.  A group of people that really care about who you are and were created to be.  They will help you and you will help them.  Jack Canfield says TEAM (together everyone achieves miracles) work is key.
